As you may already know, our Scorer for many years, Ray Fordham, sadly died a few weeks ago.

His funeral will be held at Seven Hills crematorium on Tuesday 27th February at 3.45pm

Ray was part of the fabric at our cricket club for many, many years. He supported the club greatly. Whether it be going on tour, keeping the groundsmen company, or, as many of you will know, often being found trying to add the score book up at the end of a game.

We will all have fond memories of Ray. ‘Legend’ is a word somewhat overused these days, but it’s certainly applicable in this case in terms of Ray’s connection to Kesgrave Cricket Club.

It would be a fitting tribute to him if as many of us as possible could find the time to attend his funeral next week.
